Main page when going onto the Wellington Zoo page.
Colour tone: Nature Colour. ( Green, brown, yellow tone ) Ease for the eye to look at. not harsh and hard.
Layout and style: Centred, tabs on the top and mini / other information on the side
Type of Information: Tabs
- Home page
- Visit
- Experience (or maybe live chat/ update with other users on the app/the zoo)
- Events on / Whats's On
- Animals ( what type of animals are there )
- Get Involved ( Idea of having the feeding timetable for the animals that people can go to and experience with)
- About the zoo ( information about the zoo)
- The nest ( The map of the locations and the place ).
The top part of the web-site have a 'search' bar where the user can go there directly when in a hurry to find where they want to go or the animal that they want to find / information.
- If I'm going to have a search bar, It would be a good idea if I have a drop down or a pop up where its just that search place where nothing else is in the way.

the simple layout on the side for the sharing bottom where you can connect to social media are easy to see. The Icons are easy enough to tell what they are for so the text are not needed to be there if Its going to be on an "app".
Ideas for these social media icons
- Have just the logo/icon
- Having it at either of the:
_ event page
_ photo page
_ News / Update page

This part is like a "Events button / Page to go to".
A mini calendar and or planner for the day you can write and save to your phone would be handy to make one.
Drop downs when you hover over the main tab/title section that your going into.
I was thinking that instead of drop downs when your using it on your phone. would be a good thing where a 'pop up' or even a 'icons' appear on screen to go into.
Main page when going onto the Wellington SPCA page.

The SPCA colour scheme. Blue and white
There is an advertising/ moving bar underneath the tabs where its kinda not ideal where if there is a drop down bar but in this case, there isn't. its just a click tab button where it would take you to another page.
The layout is just centred and that everything is just going down one after another.
Its good that the first and main info you get right away is the Link to the open hours as most people are always wanting to find out and the location/walking map link to the area place its in.
The idea of having that info is great but the style is not ideal for users as its just a sentence line at the top of the text page.
At the bottom of the main page, More News and information Links are placed there so it is easy for users to click into.
This is at the bottom of the pages. It links really well from the top part where you dont have to roll back up to the top where u can than change to another page your looking for. This is a really and useful design to have for user friendly for the web-page site, and its being used and going though out the whole site (bottom) but knowing that an app isn't like a web page with a top and bottom of the page, this wouldn't able to work in my design for the app page.
It would be a top main tab instead of having two tabs.
on the side of the main page with the main text messages, there are tabs and sections where you can go and click into for the main things your after.

at the very top of the page.
Pages / tabs I can have.
- Donation
- Sign up to be a member or sign in
- Contact page
- Adopt page
- Lost pet page
- Event page
Main page when going onto the Endangered animal app page.
Actual app page (ref: from google play android apps)
Not the best app ever for these animals that wants to call out to the viewers. the design is not done up well with good navigations and working around it.
Its got the nice feature of the animals list that is showing there are different parts to it like different types and than when u go inside it, it will show you what animal is listed under that category.
With the image of the 'spider' its like an image of the animal type and than with icons to tap where you Know about that animal or insects and than go next.
The buttons are places in a good place at the bottom with the arrows on each side for left and right.
Doesn't show and indicate much with the comments and Voice notes part where you have a chance to take notes about that type of animal / insect for later on reference or something.

there is nothing interesting and popping out on this app for me. but it is good to know what is there and they have one app for it for people to use. This app would need more improvements for sure to make it user friendly and good and understanding.
